Novel argument

Novel arguments are arguments that an individual has just come up with and which are being implemented, or presented for adoption by others, for the first time. Mankind's intellectual progress depends on such ideas. Initially at least, each new idea will have only one supporter, viz. the person who came up with it. Accordingly, ChildWiki does not dismiss new ideas or disallow their being voiced on the basis of their not having yet gained wide acceptance among the public or members of the child liberation movement. The work of generating and analyzing novel arguments is often undertaken by intellectuals.
